Shirtless Citizen – a brief introduction
Even though this page gets the most views, it’s very difficult for me to write a catchy presentation. I like to let the results speak. This blog was started on 17th of October, 2011. My weight was 115.2 kg at 186 cm, with a waist of 118 cm (very big belly) and zero confidence in myself. I was able to do 5 squats with 65 kg and 4 reps with 60 kg on the bench press (this paragraph will be updated periodically with my latest progress)
My main focus in this season of my life (I am 28 now) is to become stronger, leaner and better. I have decided to log my progress because I’ve wasted so many years focusing on the wrong things like latest supplements or trendy workout routines and I know that there are thousands out there doing the same mistakes I’ve did.
The goal of this blog is to show you that anything is possible if you want it bad enough. If i did it, you can do it too.
Wanderlei Silva nails pretty well what we should do in order to reach our goals: “I think that success is built with daily victories, everyday we have to grow in anyway possible: mentally, physically, intellectually … a new connection, a new friend; if you conquer a little everyday, in the end of the year you will have a lot and you will reach a new level in your life. We have to use our connections, and run after our ideals and to achieve our dreams, through hard work.”. I strongly believe that this philosophy can be implemented in your workout routine.
All you need to do is to focus on the things that will yield you the best results. When you have the right tools, it all becames a matter of time and patience.
